












Alex Carmichal has been infected with the performance bug since a very young age and has performed in over twenty-two productions on a variety of Dayton stages over the last six years. Recent roles include “Alex Woodruff” in A Snake That Eats Itself (DPH Futurefest), “Richard the Lionheart” in The Lion in Winter (PHS), “Warren Marshall” in Finding December (BCT), “Dominic Tyghe” in Amy's View (DTG), and “Frank Gilbreth” in Cheaper by the Dozen (PHS). Other favorite past roles include “Salieri” in Amadeus, “Donner” in The Eight: Reindeer Monologues, “Paul Bratter” in Barefoot in the Park, “Joshua” in Bright Ideas, and “Jake” in Jake's Women. Alex has worked with Adam Leigh in several shows and is thrilled to be a part of SEED as a resident artist. Alex has been the recipient of several DayTony and Blackburn awards for acting, and was the 2009 recipient of the Playhouse South Rodin Award for Best Male Actor for his role in Cheaper by the Dozen. Alex studied acting at Sinclair Community College and has recently returned to school full-time, pursuing a degree in Fine Arts (with special emphasis in film and digital photography).
