Michelle Leigh received her BFA in Theatrical Design and Technology with a concentration in technical direction from Wright State University. While at Wright State she served as Technical Director for The Threepenny Opera and Violet, Co-TD for Aida, Assistant TD for Tartuffe, Ragtime, and Annie Get Your Gun. She also served as Scenic Designer for Uncle Vanya and Violet, and Assistant Scenic Designer for As You Like It. She spent three seasons at Town Hall Theater in Centerville where she served as the resident Scenic Artist and Props Master. She has also designed scenery for Stivers School for the Arts in Dayton where she served as Technical Theatre Instructor in 2007-2008. Michelle has also freelanced as a technical director and/or scenic designer for many companies around Dayton including, the Way Off Broadway Theatre Company, Linden Education and Arts Program, the Dayton Playhouse, the Human Race Theatre Company’s Summer Stock Teen Program, and the Encore Theater Company. She is very excited to collaborate with some amazingly talented artists with the SEED theatre project.
