










Shayne Thomas Petty has a burning passion for the arts, as well as for the change he seeks to implement in the Dayton community. At Wright State University, Shayne studies both Theatre and Community Development. He is also very active in Wright State’s religious life as the president of Intervarsity Christian Fellowship and as a member of the Paul Lawrence Dunbar Chorale - Wright State’s Gospel Choir. Shayne is a member of the International Thespian Society and has participated actively with the Ohio Educational Theatre Association, performing in several shows, competing in pantomime competitions, and directing a piece he authored. Most recently, Shayne taught as a workshop instructor at the OEdTA’s State Thespian Conference. Shayne has been seen throughout the Miami Valley and across the state performing with Northmont High School’s Theatre and Music departments, Ashland University’s Theatre and Music departments, Wright State University’s Film and Music Departments, as well as The Brookville Community Theatre and The Dayton Playhouse. Shayne is also a ticket agent for the Victoria Theatre Association, working with the company since May of 2009.
